Skin knows how to rebuild itself. The Duo gives it more to work with.

What changes at mid-life is how much skin has to rebuild with. Two forces are behind it, and they show up first where skin is thinnest: thinning, creping and loss of firmness.

The Body Renewal Duo is a two-step treatment for those areas. Together, they visibly firm, smooth and brighten while relieving tightness and dryness.

The science behind the Body Renewal Duo

What Changes in Mid-Life Skin

The main change: less collagen

Collagen is the protein that gives skin its structure and thickness. From the mid-twenties, skin holds less of it each year. [1] After menopause the loss speeds up, about thirty percent in the first five years, then roughly two percent a year. It follows the years since menopause more closely than age itself. [2]
‍
The change shows first where skin is thinnest: the arms, chest and décolletage. There, it looks like:
‍
Thinning · Crepiness · Loss of firmness

Why it Happens

Two forces behind it

1 · Reduced Cellular Energy
Collagen is made by cells in the deeper layer of skin and building requires the energy these cells make themselves. With time, they make less resulting in less energy to do the same job. Research comparing skin cells from younger and older adults shows this clearly. [3]

2 · Ongoing Chronic Inflammation
Inflammation is how the body responds to injury. It flares up, does its repair work, then settles. As the years add up, the body begins reacting to its own accumulated wear, and a quiet, low-level version takes hold that never fully settles. Researchers named it inflammaging. [4] In skin, it wears down the collagen that is already there and makes it harder to build new. [5, 6]

The two forces feed each other. When a cell’s energy starts to run low, it sends out signals that keep this inflammation going. Both are on a list of twelve hallmarks researchers have identified behind how the body changes over time. [7]

What Doesn't Change

Skin still knows how to function

Nothing is broken. The cells that build collagen are still there, and they still know how to do the job. What changes is what they have to work with.

The Solution

More to work with. Less working against it.

The Body Renewal Duo is a two-step targeted treatment for the arms, chest and décolletage. Each step is formulated for one of the two forces.

Step 1 gives skin more to work with. A water-based serum built around D-Ribose, a simple sugar cells use to make energy. It absorbs quickly so its ingredients go in first.

Step 2 is formulated for what is working against it. An oil built around frankincense, the resin a tree produces to protect itself when its bark is cut. It stays on the surface longer, holding moisture in and keeping its ingredients in contact with skin throughout the day.

Two formulas, one ritual. Because body skin deserves the same treatment as your face.

The result:
firmer, smoother, more resilient body skin.

Why I Started RYSN

As women, we experience a lot of change at mid-life, including how our skin shows up each day. My own skin stopped responding the way it used to, and I noticed more dryness and less of the firmness I'd had.So I did the research to understand what's really happening under the surface as our hormone levels shift. That led me to start RYSN, an alternative approach to helping skin do what it already knows how to do.

Because regardless of our stage in life, we should all feel good in our skin.

What women are saying

A Daily Staple That Delivers

"The serum absorbs quickly, and the oil locks in moisture that keeps my skin hydrated all day. My skin looks firmer, feels more supple, and has a healthier glow."

Finally, Science That Respects My Intelligence

For years, midlife skincare felt like empty promises. Then I found RYSNology, grounded in real science about how skin changes at this stage of life. The difference isn't just cosmetic, it's structural: my skin feels healthier, stronger, more resilient.

Compliments I Didn't Expect

"I'm 57 and use the Body Renewal Duo on my décolletage. My skin looks smoother, healthier, and more radiant, people have actually complimented me on it. It absorbs beautifully, never greasy, and leaves skin deeply nourished."
